Artist Interviews & Relations

During my positions as Marketing Director and General Manager for 93.5 WVBR-FM, Ithaca's #1-rated radio station, I had the immense opportunity–even through a pandemic–of interviewing artists from all over the country and the world. I want to give a big shoutout to In2une Music, which has repeatedly partnered with WVBR and myself, allowing me to be connected to several new and exciting artists.

Collaborations I have coordinated include not only interviews and press photos, but Instagram takeovers, TikToks, on-air song rotations, and Spotify playlists. Using some of the journalism skills I have learned at Harvard and WVBR News, I've written press articles for each of the interviews I have conducted. Artists I have interviewed include EGOT-winning John Legend, Saint Motel, Ezi, Jukebox the Ghost, Luna Bay, Soleima, and The Mowgli's. I have also coordinated collaborations with Aly & AJ, Gus Dapperton, Wallows, LIVVIA, Parson James, The Naked and Famous, and more!

I also work with the Cornell Concert Commission as press as well as directly as event staff. I have worked security, tickets, and backstage in order to ensure that our concerts of 1K+ students go safely and efficiently for both the artist and audience members. CCC has greatly deepened my love and passion for artist management that WVBR ignited in me. Through it, I have been able to meet and work with legends like Flo Milli, CupcaKke, and DNCE.
